Moore's Law - Predicts the End of Computer Dudes... or does it. :)

on 30 May 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 3

I have had the privilidge of watching personal computers, networks, irc, gaming servers, virtualization and now Quantum Computers.

Before computers I worked on Analog Circuits, Power Systems, Communications, and Control Systems.

My age makes me one of the few Analog / Digital Engineers remaining on the planet.

Computers and Technology are very rapidly evolving systems, just about every year since 1997 Computer Dudes has had a different
business plan, or products and services, focus, and advertising.

One of our "Guiding Stars" has been Moore's Law.

Moore's Law states that the number of transistors in a chip will double in size,
while the chip itself decreases in size and energy consumption - about every 2 years.

Computers are now so small Computer Dudes will soon discontinue home and small office PC Repair.

However we will replace PC Repair - with research, training, data center services, inventing, creating and bringing to market new products and services.

Our #solaronemonolith off-grid solar cluster type supercomputers are still for sale.

The Shell and Core Design are scalable so we can
use many types of motherboards (motherboards the size of a credit card) and even the new Quantum Computers.

Moore's Law and his accomplishments in the invention and production of the first computer chips is incredible.
If you are in IT I recommend you read Moore's history and writings.

So while Computer Dudes soon will cease personal computer repair - We have expanded into further research, development, and prototyping.
Also, our Data Center Services and Data Center Conversion to Solar Power or other Low Energy Setups business continues to grow.

Low Cost Drones - For Photography and Security. Tethered Drones for Safe Observation

on 28 Apr 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 4

The Computer Dudes, Inc was asked by a client for an affordable Drone Solution to Enhance their Site Security.

We came up with a low cost "Tethered Drone" System using inexpensive / disposable drones.   We have enhanced our drone system with a tether which allows the drone to safely
hover in place at a fixed height.   The tether version 1.0  allows the drone to fly in weather where other drones cannot.   It also prevents the drone from being taken by a big gust of wind.

We are releasing Version 1.0 to the Public, Corporations, Schools, Government, Real Estate, Small Offices, Construction Sites and Homes.

Computer Dudes Tethered Drone Observation and Security Enhancement:

1) Select a Large Drone with a good camera - A controller and cell phone controls are the best.   We tested several models all under $100.
2) Purchase a 100 foot roll of Paracord - Cut one piece of Paracord to a 50 foot length.  Then cut four 1 foot lengths out of the extra cord.
3) Purchase or make a Stake to drive into the ground with an eyehook.

Proceedure
A) Tie or Secure 1 foot pieces of paracord onto the Drone Landing Gear.    Then tie the pieces together at the other end for the "harness"
B) Tie 50 foot Paracord to bottom of harness
C) Launch Drone - set it to "Maintain Position"
D) Clip or tie paracord to Stake in Ground
E) Depart Area
F) Operate by Phone from safe distance.   Use Phone to capture and send photos, videos, and panorama's

Daytime Operation is recommended, but the same procedure should work at night if you have night cameras on your drone.
After you have the drone you like - buy a spare one or two and you have a full system good for a decade or so.

Go use it to secure your Homes, Businesses, Schools, Construction Sites, Shopping Areas and even at the Beach.

Version 2.0 has a power harness option.    You will have to contact us to purchase version 2.0 and 3.0 or a custom rig.

Most Drones do not require a harness and many have single button functions like launch and land or take panarama or even follow me modes.
You can use these kind of un-tethered drones to do most of the above too - the tether just helps with wind and remote operation.

Every home, school, business and the rest should also have an emergency plan - such as where to gather if there is a fire and multiple exits from the buildings
and properties so the fire department and EMS can get onsite.

The Byars Family Motto is: "Always Prepared" which you can see on our Coat of Arms. -  We share that with you too.

Computer Dudes prepares for Summer

on 18 Apr 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 0

Ah Summer,

Unless you are at the beach - your business may slow in the Summer.

Many companies lay off employees during slow times but not Computer Dudes.    We just plan and make sure everyone uses some of their paid vacation time.

We will be continuing our research projects on LIDAR, AI, Outdoor Supercomputers, and Data Center Efficiency year round.

Yes - we do have room for more clients!.

However unless you are on our client list, you will need to call and qualify.
It is not a sales scam - just tightened security.     We went to a private client list several years ago to improve security for all clients.

Fondest Regards,

Todd W. Byars

We do have an Anti-Drone system by another vendor.

Drone Radar with Omni Antenna Cone. It is still pretty high in price - but if you have drone issues -

I would say its worth it. :)T

OK so we tested the Ray Ban Smartwatches for a client over the last week.

It took less than 20 minutes to hack.

We added some security and tracked down the small motherboard.

We like it, its easier on the face than other Smartglasses. :)T

Working on Assistance for Maui, Supply Line and Cleanup now - then rebuilding on a per site basis.

New types or prebuilt and completely finished Homes (not Tiny Homes).

We need discount or free Transport for A2N Air Cargo Containers packed with supplies and materials.

Do you have extra Air Cargo Capacity to Maui or anywhere in Hawaii?

Maui has a good airport with air cargo but only a small cruise ship light cargo type port.

You can find Todd Byars, Tallahassee, Florida on my LinkedIn Account and initiate contact that way.

There are a number of groups and discussions on LinkedIn and other Social Media.

If you are going to help out or donate - make sure they are legit and have things already underway BEFORE you give.

We are not taking financial donations at this time.

In a week or so we hope to post some Charity Links for groups in action on the Maui Cleanup and Rebuild. :)Todd

WOW - These Smartwatches with medical and other sensors - you can hack them and directly access the sensors.

The complex optical and other sensors in the watch can be retasked to make all sorts of sensors.

The current model we are playing with has Temperature, O2, Heart Rate, ECG, BP, Blood Glucose, Sleep, Motion, GPS, Air Pressure/Altitude Contact, and other sensors.

It is basically an Emergency Room basic patient hookup - on a persons wrist.

Note smartwatches are not "Medical Quality" sensors but the data can be used for general reference. :)T
