The Solar One Monolithic Super Computer now comes with 3 Monolith options for clients.

on 10 May 2021  Posted by Administrator  Category: Technology  Comments (0)

The main Monolith is made of polished marble, around 6 feet tall, and about as wide as a man.

On the Original - A second piece of Granite of the same size and width but of shorter length is attached to the Monolith in the ground.  Two pieces of thin steel separate the two pieces of stone.  Solar Panels go on one side, computer parts and video screen, mouse and KB, all weatherproof go on the other side of the monolith.

The main Computer Core is either attached to the granite or is in a glass shell on top - because the computers and core are strangely beautiful.

We are now introducing the "T-Head" and "X-wing" Monoliths.

These use the standard 6 foot Monolith - that goes in the ground, but use only granite for their form to connect the 2nd piece of granite.
They also allow for upgrades using larger Motherboards in our Gordo and Chico Clusters.

There is video there of the Solar One Monolith which has been online since Jan 4, 2021 with no grid power or wired connections.
The main website for Newline Microservers is not up yet.   We have sold enough units to keep us busy for 3+ months.

We stopped using Facebook and buying advertising there about 3 years ago.

So it is with vast amusement we watched them get pwned .

That said, I do hope they fix and clean up Facebook. It might be nice to be able to use it again one day. - Todd W. Byars, and The Computer Dudes.

Atlanta or Sarasota - which is next on my engineering jobs list.

To be honest we don't mind working in OLD or NEW Data Centers. Cleaning servers, upgrading drives, instructing the staff.

The vacuum cleaners we use in a data center are highly airfilterd so they capture all the dust,

unlike the old days when the insides of the servers would get so dirty we would have to remove them from the racks and take them to the service truck outside and clean them.

Oh yeah and back then they were all 3U cases or larger.

Where would you rather go to work on a data center? :)T

Checking In from Savannah, Georgia... up here for a job and a few days vacation.

The city has grown and cleaned up since my last visit.

Savannah, Georgia is a port city, with heavy industry, technology and access deep into Georgia on the Savannah River.

Comms are Good. Power Infrastructure much improved since last visit.

I will be grading a Data Center tomorrow morning then plan to stay and enjoy the city for a few days.

Great clear cool Fall weather too. Hope you have a great weekend. Admin

Exciting News! We have a Super Computer in a bottle using the Gordo Core System and 2 large cylinders.

The connecting collar has the cooling fans, or is attached to the Hot Pipes as well as slots for the battery and power systems.

This makes the core portable and weather proof for use indoors, or attached to one of our Solar One Monoliths

The parts are being fabricated or 3d printed now.

I know some of yoo can't visualize this so here is another way to look at it -

Imagine a 12 Diameter Test Tube that is 20 inches tall with a Gordo-8 Supercomputer inside.

Modifications to our newest system of Monoliths will include a 12 inch diameter in the granite where the computer in a glass inserts into the monolith.

Good stuff. Photos soon. COVID19 and bad weather are slowing production and sales.

But progress is made - every day. Every hour. :)T

Monolith Serial Number 005 is ready for pickup, installation and build.

Gordo-8 Class V and Class X to 3-D Printing after another client 3-D print order completes and ships.

Class X is INTEL or AMD motherboards probably running VMware in a single "Sphere" per Monolith for use with all Operating Systems in Virtual Mode concurrently.

Hurricanes, Floods, COVID19, Politicians, Rebellions, Lawyers, Con-Women, Hackers, and Thieves???

No problem, we keep building. ;)T
