Up First for 2024 - Best Practices going into Q1 2024

on 21 Nov 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 0

Welcome to 2024 - or according to when you read this Happy Holidays to all our friends, employees, families and communities.

Up First

1)  How To: Setup a safe payment app with local bank support.    Details and Video will be posted soon. as well as full detail on our website.
load a new payment app lightly funded, then how to setup a separate safe account at a bank.   This one is at the "Filming" Ads stage of prep for 2024.

2)  Backups, portable backups, remote backups, offsite backup, usb drive backups and taking a copy of your backup home in case there is a fire at the office.

3)  Identify "Deepfakes" and those who use them, along with con-men, grifters, deals that are "too good to be true," and people who abuse your customers and employees.
Cut them off and Block them.   We will show you more on this soon.

4)  If you do wish to surf the web, use Social Media or Hold Secure Meetings - use a disposable Laptop attached to a separate network than your main network at work and at home.
Easier than it sounds - use a "Hot Spot," or Second Data Source or put it behind a separate router with a different IP series.   Turn the laptop off when not in use.   Factory Reload if it gets a virus or replace it.

5) Stay Alive - take care of your health, your families and your employees and clients.  Be Prepared to assist or render First Aid or CPR to others.   Advanced First Aid classes are suggested.  One can find such classes for free in most cities and towns

6) Back Out of Social Media in 2024 - to many fakes, bots and political posts.   Do not spend your advertising dollars on Social Media instead bolster your website and its SEO.   Revert to non-social media marketing plans and MAKE SURE your marketing is on target for whom you are selling to.    Dollars spend on bad advertising have put many a company under since long before computers and social networks existed.

7) NEW Security Processes and Standards in 2024.    We recommend "Open Security" for 90% of all corporate computers and "Redundant" resources.  "Compartmentalization and Separation" for Real secrets, client databases, finances, bids and advertising go on a SEPARATE NETWORK.    Nothing personal or business is left on the workstations or servers on the "Open Security" side.   Secure materials are kept on a different server on a different network with real-time backups and off-site backups.   Encrypt your databases on your "secure side" too and have them limited by IP and MAC address filters.

8) Number 8 - guess you will have to come back and see number 8, and the rest, as we add them.

Local Television Advertisements for Tallahassee, Florida - Thomasville, Georgia market will start running in January on a Local TV Station. Videos of all this will be shared online at out website:  www.thecomputerdudesinc.com  or on Youtube and we will share those  link when we they become available.

Raw Uncut / Unedited Videos from the Video Ad are now being shared on my LinkedIn account.   Check them out!

The Economy is solid and outlook good - going into the first quarter of 2024 - from both a business and personal standpoint.  :)

Sincerely,

Moore's Law - Predicts the End of Computer Dudes... or does it. :)

on 30 May 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 3

I have had the privilidge of watching personal computers, networks, irc, gaming servers, virtualization and now Quantum Computers.

Before computers I worked on Analog Circuits, Power Systems, Communications, and Control Systems.

My age makes me one of the few Analog / Digital Engineers remaining on the planet.

Computers and Technology are very rapidly evolving systems, just about every year since 1997 Computer Dudes has had a different
business plan, or products and services, focus, and advertising.

One of our "Guiding Stars" has been Moore's Law.

Moore's Law states that the number of transistors in a chip will double in size,
while the chip itself decreases in size and energy consumption - about every 2 years.

Computers are now so small Computer Dudes will soon discontinue home and small office PC Repair.

However we will replace PC Repair - with research, training, data center services, inventing, creating and bringing to market new products and services.

Our #solaronemonolith off-grid solar cluster type supercomputers are still for sale.

The Shell and Core Design are scalable so we can
use many types of motherboards (motherboards the size of a credit card) and even the new Quantum Computers.

Moore's Law and his accomplishments in the invention and production of the first computer chips is incredible.
If you are in IT I recommend you read Moore's history and writings.

So while Computer Dudes soon will cease personal computer repair - We have expanded into further research, development, and prototyping.
Also, our Data Center Services and Data Center Conversion to Solar Power or other Low Energy Setups business continues to grow.

Low Cost Drones - For Photography and Security. Tethered Drones for Safe Observation

on 28 Apr 2023  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 5

The Computer Dudes, Inc was asked by a client for an affordable Drone Solution to Enhance their Site Security.

We came up with a low cost "Tethered Drone" System using inexpensive / disposable drones.   We have enhanced our drone system with a tether which allows the drone to safely
hover in place at a fixed height.   The tether version 1.0  allows the drone to fly in weather where other drones cannot.   It also prevents the drone from being taken by a big gust of wind.

We are releasing Version 1.0 to the Public, Corporations, Schools, Government, Real Estate, Small Offices, Construction Sites and Homes.

Computer Dudes Tethered Drone Observation and Security Enhancement:

1) Select a Large Drone with a good camera - A controller and cell phone controls are the best.   We tested several models all under $100.
2) Purchase a 100 foot roll of Paracord - Cut one piece of Paracord to a 50 foot length.  Then cut four 1 foot lengths out of the extra cord.
3) Purchase or make a Stake to drive into the ground with an eyehook.

Proceedure
A) Tie or Secure 1 foot pieces of paracord onto the Drone Landing Gear.    Then tie the pieces together at the other end for the "harness"
B) Tie 50 foot Paracord to bottom of harness
C) Launch Drone - set it to "Maintain Position"
D) Clip or tie paracord to Stake in Ground
E) Depart Area
F) Operate by Phone from safe distance.   Use Phone to capture and send photos, videos, and panorama's

Daytime Operation is recommended, but the same procedure should work at night if you have night cameras on your drone.
After you have the drone you like - buy a spare one or two and you have a full system good for a decade or so.

Go use it to secure your Homes, Businesses, Schools, Construction Sites, Shopping Areas and even at the Beach.

Version 2.0 has a power harness option.    You will have to contact us to purchase version 2.0 and 3.0 or a custom rig.

Most Drones do not require a harness and many have single button functions like launch and land or take panarama or even follow me modes.
You can use these kind of un-tethered drones to do most of the above too - the tether just helps with wind and remote operation.

Every home, school, business and the rest should also have an emergency plan - such as where to gather if there is a fire and multiple exits from the buildings
and properties so the fire department and EMS can get onsite.

The Byars Family Motto is: "Always Prepared" which you can see on our Coat of Arms. -  We share that with you too.

Computer Dudes were asked to look at low water and other problems in the Panama Canal.

We now have solutions that would give enough water to the Panama Canal and the people and even the mining operations by local and foreign countries.

We will publish that soon on this website as soon as our people on the ground in the area verify our research.

Go, Computer Dudes, Go!!

We now have a prototype and series of equations with the geometry of space and new technology of FTL communications between planets and times.

It is base largely on Radio Astronomy.

We are listening on 1,400 to 1,440 kilohertz

Space Frequency - Banned for Transmission

The first time I drew it out - was on a napkin at a sports bar conducting a business meeting.

Even the non-scientists and civilians understood and could do the math when we were finished.

FTL communications should allow us to communicate with the future, or maybe even the past.

1,440 Khz Radio or Radio Telescope monitoring and tracking.

More GOOD NEWS from your friends at Computer Dudes. :)T
